As a Sr Export & Sanctions Compliance Analyst here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our company adheres to export and sanctions laws and regulations and minimizes its risk profile. You will be responsible for supporting due diligence analyses on a variety of third-party relationships at Honeywell Aerospace, helping to maintain a strong culture of compliance across the organization. Honeywell Aerospace subscribes to a number of diligence services, and you will be responsible for collecting data from these and other publicly available sources, creating diligence reports, and issuing recommendations for managing the relationship in a compliant manner.

You will report directly to a General Counsel in the Export & Sanctions organization, and you’ll work out of one of our Phoenix, AZ, Clearwater, FL, Minneapolis, MN or Washington, DC location on hybrid in-office schedule.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Conduct due diligence on all types of third-party relationships, including distributor, vendor, and customer relationships, for Honeywell Aerospace, with a focus on export controls and sanctions regulations.
Make recommendations to leadership on compliance guardrails for certain third-party relationships.
Conduct audits and assessments in due diligence processes to identify compliance gaps and recommend corrective actions.
Partner with peers in Export & Sanctions Compliance and IT and make recommendations regarding improved screening processes to find efficiency gains.
Monitor changes in third-party relationship statuses and industry best practices for screening to update relevant stakeholders.
Make updates to a third-party’s status in various Honeywell screening systems, including SAP GTS and Salesforce.
