Job Description

This role plays a pivotal role in empowering FloQast's direct sales team. As a Solutions Architect, you will be a product and compliance expert who will co-sell our Connected Compliance solutions with Account Executives to prospects and existing clients. As a liaison between sales and clients, you will be the go-to resource for tackling compliance-specific inquiries, scenarios, and other elements that arise throughout the sales cycle, all with the goal of driving revenue to its fullest potential and nurturing the development of our sales representatives. 

 

You will be responsible for delivering the Solution WIN for our Connected Compliance solution as part of the broader platform win story. You will be responsible for carrying an ARR growth quota for the Compliance business. 

 

This role has a requirement of working in office 3 days per week, which may be subject to change based on team and business needs, as determined by the department leader. Please note that this requirement is subject to ongoing review and may be adjusted in the future.

What You'll Do:
  • Join various remote & on-site demonstration meetings with sales reps to help answer technical/operational compliance questions.  
  • For larger strategic deals, act as a project manager for the post sale implementation in order to ensure successful implementation against success metrics and why clients purchased FloQast Connected Compliance
  • Build current state vs future state solution to present to clients
  • Effectively track success metrics during pre-sales discovery to communicate with post sales teams on why customers purchased FloQast (Close, Transform, Compliance)
  • Elevate sales team’s compliance knowledge to better understand & cater to prospect needs.
  • Continuously coach direct sales team members on effective strategy, positioning & objection handling methods.
  • Lead various internal training sessions to enhance compliance knowledge.
  • Coordinate with product, support & setup team(s) to understand roadmap developments & act as a liaison between direct sales & setup team to ensure a smooth implementation.
  • Provide a deeper understanding to direct sales team as to why current clients have purchased FloQast Connected Compliance and build the value proposition of our entire connected platform
  • Assist partnership/consulting team in running demonstrations for PE and Partner firms
  • Assist Customer Success team by joining calls with current clients to address compliance-related questions, support customer retention, continue to drive home and assist with tracking of success metrics
  • Design and develop training content to further enhance direct sales team knowledge. A detailed understanding of the current competitive landscape to act as a subject matter expert to direct sales & partnership teams when outlining differences between FloQast and other GRC solutions in the marketplace.
  • Revise & organize IT / sales collateral necessary for direct sales team.
  • Consult with the BVC (Business Value Consulting) team to build custom solutions and ROI metrics for Value engagements
  • Respond to Compliance related RFPs
  • Travel required, up to 30%
  • Other duties as assigned by leadership 


What You'll Bring:
  • Experience: 2+ years in a solutions consultant, sales engineering, or similar pre-sales role, with a strong focus on compliance, GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance), or audit software
  • Technical Acumen: Deep understanding of compliance regulations (e.g., SOX, GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001), ERM frameworks, and operational audit processes. Ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Product Knowledge: Proven ability to quickly learn and master new software platforms and demonstrate their value in a sales context. Experience with compliance-specific software solutions is highly desirable, understanding of the competitive landscape.
  • Business Acumen: Strong understanding of business processes related to risk management, internal controls, and corporate governance. Ability to identify customer pain points and translate them into effective solution strategies.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience in creating and delivering compelling presentations, business cases, and marketing content (e.g., LinkedIn posts, podcast contributions).
  • Customer-Facing Experience: Demonstrated success in engaging with executive-level stakeholders, understanding their strategic needs, and building strong client relationships.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with sales teams, product development, marketing, and post-sales support to ensure a seamless customer experience.
    Strategic Thinking: Capacity to contribute to the overall growth strategy of the compliance offering, identifying new market opportunities and contributing to enablement initiatives.
    Initiative: Self-starter with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing customer needs and market trends. 
    Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Computer Science, Finance, Law) or equivalent practical experience. Certifications in GRC or audit (e.g., CISA, GRCP) are a plus.

The base salary range for this position is $95,000 - $130,000. This position is eligible for a commission plan in addition to base pay. Compensation is not limited to base salary.
